How do I show the closed & open envelopes on email

New at computers and somehow have lost the envelope icon on emails showing
either open or closed. Can you help? Thanks
 
You can start Outlook with the /cleanviews command line switch to delete all
custom views and reset the built-in ones back their default look and feel.

How to:
1) Select Start > Run
2) Type: outlook.exe /cleanviews
3) OK button

There is a space between "outlook.exe" and "/cleanviews"
