how do i share an internet conection?

I have this network between an XP Pro and 98.
The XP connects through the internet using a 56K Modem.
I now want to let the 98 connect to the internet through
the network using this connection. How do i do that?
I've already enabled sharing the connection but it's
still not working. What am I forgetting?
