How do I setup Calendar Alerts

Calendar Alerts with Sound

I am trying to setup Outlook Calendar Alerts using sound but the sound does
not work. Can anyone assist me?

Do the reminders pop up at all? Does the sound file you're using (or trying
to use) play in Media Player?

The reminders do pop up and the sound I selected worked when I test it in
stand alone mode.
 
Just to be sure, is it set here: Tools menu > Options > Other > Advanced >
Reminder

"Calendar Alerts with Sound"
