How do I get alerts from a calendar I created in the Public Folder

I use microsoft exchange server and windows xp. I created a calendar in
Public Folders to share with colleagues but can not recieve alerts from it
because "the item does not appear in your Calendar or Tasks folder." Please
advise.
 
You would need to use Reminder manager from slovaktech.com to get reminders
from non-default calendars.
