How do I set up the dolookup command in access?

I am trying to set up the dolookup command in the build routine of an access
query. I have reviewed the online help and the manual to show me the
protocol, but I must still have something incorrectly setup. I was wondering
if anybody had any good examples of the protocol for this command. Thanks
for your help.
