How do I set up my Gmail account with Outlook 2000?

I recently signed up for gmail (POP 3 based e-mail) and want Outlook
send/receive my mail. I have followed the instructions on the gmail site and
now can send mail from my gmail account via Outlook but am not alerted when
new mail is received, nor can I find the Inbox for my gmail. Worthy of note
is that I aldready have one mail account (IMAP based) on my Outlook but have
set gamil to the default.
 
If your local PST file is the delivery location then Gmail should arrive
there - in your Inbox and not in your IMAP Inbox which shouldn't be default.
