how do i set up gmaile in outlook 2000

Hai,
this is bharat.. i am using outlook 2000.. I have pop enable gmail a/c...
i configured in my outlook 2000 to access my gmail with the details given by
gmail and microsoft.. but the problem is when i press 'send/receive'.. it is
giving me the follow'g msg and ask'g for the proper value
Error is " The POP3 server name you specified cannot be found. Plz check the
namae and try again..."... note:- I am using LAN.. could you plz help me..
how can i get rid of this error.. thank u

Make sure you are allowed to use POP3 within your LAN. The corporate
firewall may be blocking it.

and I am so sorry for post'g the same q once again.. I was in doubt thats
why i didt it..
anyhow.. could plz tell me.. how can I check whether I am allowed to user
POP3 in our LAN.....
If not tell me how should i do that also..

Just ask your administrator if you're allowed to do that.
