How do I set up a reminder for a recurring task?

I have set up a recurring task for every 3rd Monday (program reports must be
completed) but I need a reminder that morning. When I try to set up a
reminder it only lets me set up a reminder for one day. Any ideas?
 
When setting up the Appt, go to Actions, recurrence on the menu. And
customize the toolbar to show this button if it's not already there.
