How do I set the time for a reminder for all day events

I need to set reminders for all day events, so I set them 3 or 5 days in
advance. However I have an XDA Orbit that goes off at 5am(!) every time. How
do I change this so it goes off during the day?

type the reminder as 3.5 days or 5.5 days - then it will go off at noon the
day before. 2.25 days also work - probably other fractions too.
