How do I set the default monitor?

I have the radeon 9800 pro.
I have the TV and screen both plugged into the card, the startup (ie
boot, reboot) process interprets the TV and the "default monitor" and
shows boot information (and BIOS setup screens, if I press DEL) on the
TV which is not always on.

If I have only the monirot pluggd into the card, I see the boot info on
the monitor, no problem.

I have checked the BIOS setup and can see nothing there about choosing
the monitor or TV as the "default monitor".

How do I set things so that the monitor is the default monitor?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Right click on desktop.

Select "Properties"

Select "settings" Tab

Click on the screen you want to be the primary monitor

Tick the box beside "Use this device as the primary monitor"

Thanks very much for the reply, but:

I have two monitors in the list:

1. (multiple monitors) on Radeon 9800 pro
2. default monitor on Radeon 9800 pro - secondary

When I select (1), "use this device as primary monitor" is checked. as
is, "extend the desktop onto this monitor".

When I select (2) (ie the TV) "use this device as primary monitor" is
NOT checked and neither is "extend the desktop onto this monitor".

So these settings look OK to me.
Its strange that "(multiple monitors) on Radeon 9800 pro" is there
because I assume that this refers to both monitors as well.

Ideas?
