How do I set the cursor on left in a new word document?

I have set computer language to English (US) but each time I open a new word
document, the cursor is on the right. I have to make go to left by clicking
the small tab in the tool bar. Can this be made default on the left corner as
in normal English?
 
Open Microsoft Word
Go to: Tools menu
Chose: Options
Chose: Coplix Scripts tab
Under: General >> Document view chose Left to right
Click: OK

Thanks Rana - this did not work .. I work in Kuwait and the computer was
perhaps Arabic enebled before, though it is now set to English. Any more
ideas?
