How do I set outlook to look up addresses in my personal contacts.

My email folders, calendar, contacts etc. are all stored on a MS exchange
server. This is great because I can access everything from anywhere.

HOWEVER, outlook refuses to look up contacts in my personal contacts folder
(on the exchange server), and instead always tries to use the public contacts
list, also on the exchange server. E.g. If I address an email to 'home',
knowing I've created a contact called 'home' in my contacts list, outlook
does not seem able to search my personal contacts. Instead I am offered a
choice of people from the public contacts folders (also on the exchange
server) with names that sound a bit like 'home'!!! Any ideas for sorting this
out?

Here is something you might check. In Outlook open the Address Book and go
to Tools->Options. Then you can select address book options such as which
address book to list first, where to keep personal addresses and what order
to search the address books.

First, I'd make sure you enabled your Contacts Folder as an email address
book in its properties.

Hi. Thanks. I've checked what you said and yes, my contacts folder is enabled
as an email address book. However, when I click on contacts and then go to
tools->options, I can't find the address book options you mention (for which
book to list first etc.). Which tab is this on?

Re-read the post.
He said to open the Address Book, not the Contacts Folder, then go to Tools
