how do I set browser defaults for links in received emails

Incoming emails often have links to websites. I use Internet Explorer usually
but have Firefox also installed. Clicking on email links opens Firefox but I
would prefer to use Explorer. How do I configure Outlook to set Explorer as
the default?

It's not an Outlook option. It depends on which browser you have set as the
default in Windows.
Set it to IE via Control Panel in Windows and Outlook will follow.
