How do I set author color in Word 2003?

In previous versions, I could easily set Author Color for changes and
comments. I assume this can still be done, but can't find the option
anywhere, and help is, well, no help (local and online). Word chose green -
no idea why. Any clues?

Dropdowns already are set to "By Author" - I would like my color to be blue,
not green. Somewhere the color green has been set as my color, and I do not
seem to be able to change that. In the Tools > Options > User Information, I
believe, this used to be settable. From the help info you pointed to, I
gather that I no longer have a choice, and I can just get used to green (or
whatever color Word chooses that day). Thanks...

Just to clarify, you *never* had the choice of "your" color when using "By
Author". You may have been lucky and always seen blue, but it wasn't
settable in any version of Word -- at least as far back as Word 97.

It may be that z80man just wants to set his own color. This can be done by
selecting green *instead of* By Author.
