How do I set all layers on a poster to one layer for PDF format?

I am trying to convert a poster on power point to an Adobe file for printing
and need to set all layers to a single layer.

PowerPoint doesn't really have layers in the sense that most drawing programs
do, but perhaps we're thinking of different meanings for the same term.

Let's put the question a little differently: It sounds as though you're having
a problem getting a satisfactory PDF from PowerPoint. What is the problem?
