Transfer contact list to another computer through E mail

You could use the Export function in outlook to export just your contacts to
a new PST file. Email that new PST file to the other computer, and open from
Outlook.

Export to Excel, send the Excel spreadsheet. Depending on the version of
Outlook, .pst files can be blocked.

Create a new PST with File>New>Outlook Data File, then copy your contacts
folder to that PST. Right-click the PST to close it, close Outlook, then
rename the extension of the PST to, say, .psx. Reopen Outlook and mail the
renamed PST to the other party, telling them to extract it to disk and
rename its extension back to .pst. Then they can open it with
File>Open>Outlook Data File and have access to the contacts folder you
copied. Avoid exporting if you can.

For contacts on one person's computer, exporting does not matter since there
is no connection to be lost on the second person's computer. Besides, do
you really trust people to follow directions or just start whining?

True. I just don't like exporting and importing. It gives the impression
that if it works in one situation, it will work in all.
Besides, do you really trust people to follow directions
or just start whining?

I guess I'm not quite that cynical. In general, the people with whom I
communicate have college educations, which is a good indication they know
how to read.
