If I receive a message with multiple attachments I used to be able to scroll
through them and preview them with Outlook (office 2000) but I now cannot
with Outlook (office 2005). Is there a seeting to change this?

Outlook does not show attachments in the Reading Pane and there is no setting
for it.

Outlook used to allow scrolling through.jpg files ... why not now?

Outlook 2000 was an odd duck, employing some of Outlook Express to do its job.
Also, Outlook 2000 was much less secure than current Outlook versions. While
I can't say that I've ever seen atachments in the Preview Pane (that's more of
an Outlook Express feature), if it did happen, later versions of Outlook are
more secure and cannot show attachments in the Reading Pane. They will show
_embedded_ images, however.
