Using XP and another 98SE, how can I schedule the computer
to turn itself on on a regular schedule?

Thanks!

The computer must have a scheduling feature in the BIOS, since when the
computer is off, Windows is not running. Not many computers have this
features (well the ones I have seen).

What you can do is use a scheduler on one computer to use
the "wake on lan or wake on ring" on the other one with a
batch file. This a Bios function.

This program will do it be running a batch file to call
the other computer.

"Power Off" there lot's of options in it may work, I use
it to shut down my net.

You could have one computer 'wake up' another. Most pc's today support
'Wake On LAN' and Wake on Ring.
