how do i save powerpoint 2002 in slide only mode?

i need to send a presentation to a mate, but in a slide only mode, not
showing all the tool bars and workings. so when he opens the attachment he
only sees the slide show/presentation. How is this achieved?

Change the file extension in Windows Explorer from (ppt) to (pps), or open
the PPT, click "File", "Save as", change the "Save as type" dropdown to
"PowerPoint SlideShow".
