I want to transfer only a selected number of my Outlook Contact Distribution
Lists to another computer...where do I find the contact list file, and how
can I choose what to save to a CD???

I can do this for the entire content of an address book. You might use this
procedure then go to the target address book and delete unwanted entries.

I use Outlook Express 6. Open Outlook Express, go to the File menu, choose
the Export option, select Address Book. In the "Address Book Export Tool"
diaglog box choose Text File, then click Export. In the "CSV Export" diaglog
box specify the filename (on the CD/floppy) to receive the exported file.
This will create a CSV (text values separated by commas) file that will be
recognized by Outlook Express on another system. On the other system, use
the Import option and point it to the CD with the filename created earlier.

This will work for individual entries in an address book, but not for Group
entries.
