How do I save a picture in word .doc to a jpg format

I have pictures that were sent to me in Word. .doc format. How do I copy the
pictures to a jpg format.

Hi Tom

File > Save As. In the Save as Type box, choose to save as a Web Page. This
will strip out all the photos and save them as separate files.
