How do I save a document from one disk to another?

I am having a problem saving a document from one disk to another disk. It
keeps telling me to make sure the drive is closed. Im not understanding what
is going on.

Please don't try to use Word as a file management application. Save
the document in its original location, close it, and use Explorer to
copy the file to the new location.
