When using a Header with the date stamp, the date will change automatically
when the document is opened, which is exactly what I need (for a daily
pass-on document for our office), however I can not save the document with
the correct date. i.e. Saved Pass-on for 01-01-08, if opened today will
display 01-02-08. I have tried using a Master Document and Saved Versions in
Word 2002 (neither have worked).
I need a "master" document labeled with Office Title, Daily Pass-On and
Date, for multiple users to access and change accordingly and be able to save
as that date.
We have been making a folder labeled with the appropriate Month and creating
and saving multiple documents for each of the work days in that month. I'm
trying to save time without complicating it too much. Any suggestions will be
greatly appreciated.
