How do I return to default settings when opening Word?

Every time I open Word, I get landscape setting, nor can I remove landscape
setting. So, how do I return to default settings when opening Word?

Perhaps asking this in a Word newsgroup will yield the best answer. This
newsgroup is devoted to Microsoft Access databases. You are generally much
more likely to find an answer in a group devoted to your subject.

Delete Normal.dot. It will be replaced with the default version along
with most settings.
