how do i retrieve re-moved word doc's from hard drive

Hi i was just wondering if anyone could help me. Your my last resort?

I typed diaries of my pregnancies and birth expriences with my children in
Microsoft Word and when i finished typing i saved to my Documents and then
later removed them and put themonto a memory stick.

However, when i moved the hard drive i bumped the memory stick and those
documents became corrupt. Now i can't read them or convert them back.

So i was wondering if there was some way possible of being able to find them
on the hard drive even though i've removed them.

Please HELP!

You *may* be able to recover the deleted files using file recovery
software - much depends on what you have done in the meantime that may have
over-written the disc space the files occupied.
