How do I retrieve my former .pst or .ost e-mail files in Outlook?

I switched my e-mail service and I "lost" my former Outlook e-mail files. I
recovered them and they are now resident on an external hard drive. I wish
to move them back to my current e-mail folders. I can't figure out how to do
this! Please help, don o
 
Couple of options...

1) You can open the PST file that is located on the external hard drive.
Start Outlook and select File > Open > Outlook Data File

2) You can import the PST file into your existing setup. Start Outlook and
select File > Import and Export


PS - OST files are Exchange mailbox specific. If you don't have access ot
the Exchange mailbox, the contents of the OST file are lost.
