How do I retrieve a powerpoint presentation that was deleted?

I just complete my presentation for school and tried to email it to myself.
I had two different similar presentations on my computer, but only 1 that I
wanted to keep. I accidently deleted the one I needed to keep. How do I
retrieve my powerpoint presentation from my computer that was deleted?
Help!!!
The only one left is one that has only two slides on it. I had over 16
slides with important data and pictures.
It is on my personal computer at home. I am not very good with computers
and was enjoying my presentation. I need to turn it in tomorrow.
Help!!
Thanks!

Pam,
Obvious question, did you look in the bin? Double click on the icon on your
desktop and see if it is there.

Yes!! I did click on the icon. I had deleted the wrong one by accident.
There is another presentation listed, but all the ones I click on are just
blank. They all state my presentation name, but no presentation is attached
to that file.

Pam, did you restore them to the original folder before double clicking as
nothing in the recycle bin will open for you, Leo

I'm not very good with computers, so I don't know exactly what you want me to
do. Could you give specific instructions and I'll try it.
Thanks!!

Okay Pam, here are some step-by-step instructions:
1. Right-click the recycle bin and choose OPEN
2. Find your presentation file, right-click it and choose RESTORE
3. Go to the folder where the presentation was before you deleted it
4. File has now been placed back in the original folder and is okay to use

Hopefully this is helpful and you are able to retrieve all of your work!

Troy's just returning the favor you already did me by mentioning the Student
Edition of Office in one of your other posts. Thanks!
