how do I restrict other users to copy the contents of a word doc?

Well I have a resume, and I want to know to know how do I restrict users to
copy and paste the contents of my documents, while they are allowed to view
and print the document. Like the "blgo function for pictures posted on a
website".

First rule: Anything someone can see, that person can copy. All you can do
is make it harder.

Within Word, you can protect the document for forms. Unless they know how to
get around this, all they can do is print and view. If they know the simple
way to get around it, it will take them less than 30 seconds.

Outside of Word you can convert it to a pdf format. That takes a bit more to
get around.
