How do I restore PPT 95 show saved on several floppies?

Several years ago, I backed up a PowerPoint presentation onto 4 floppy
diskettes using the "C:/powerpnt>backup filename.ppt a:" command at the C
prompt.
Now, when I try to restore the presentation using "C:restore a:
c:/powerpnt/*.*" command, it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

What Windows version were you using then and what version now?

I've just checked XP, 2000 and Win98SE. None have backup or restore commands.
Earlier Windows or DOS versions might have; I don't recall.

Perhaps you had backup software that used these commands installed on your PC?
If so, you'd need to reinstall it (and hope that it still works!)
