How do I restore missing journal entries

I backed up Outlook 2007 SP1 last night using the Microsft backup tool. I
made a Journal entry this morning for a contact.
Now my complete record of journal entries for the contact is gone.
How do I restore the entries?

Now my complete record of journal entries for the contact is gone.
How do I restore the entries?

Try opening the backup you made within Outlook using File>Open>Outlook Data
File, opening the Journal in the added PST and copying the data back to the
main Journal folder.

Thank you for replying and the advice.
Strange, I rebooted the computer and all my journal entries reappeared. I
wonder where they were hiding?
