How do I restore a document to an earlier version?

i accidently saved a doc after making significant changes that were to be
saved under a different name. Is there any way to restore the doc to the
earlier version i that is now gone?

Look for .TMP files in your temp folder with file time/dates that match the
time at which this happened. If you're very lucky, one of them may open in
PowerPoint (or Word, since you refer to docs ... try it in whichever program
you were creating the original file in, obviously).

If you don't know where your temp folder is try this:

Click START
Click RUN
Type
%temp%
Click Open
