How do I resize the insertion point?

PLEASE can anyone help as this is driving me mad! I was working in a table,
and when I closed it down and reopened a new document, the insertion point
has shrunk to a miniscule size! I can hardly see it at all, and was wondering
if anyone knew how to resize it to a normal level?

Thanks for any help!

No one knows what causes this, but switching to 500% Zoom and back seems to
fix it (at least temporarily).

Change the zoom to 500% and back to 100%. Dunno why it works, but it
does.

I've tried this, and it works on that one document, but not the following
ones! I work with many many different documents in a day, and zooming each
one is a pain! Oh well - I think I'll just have to get used to it then!

Thanks
