How do I reset default location (drive letter) for Documents and Settings?

My C: drive is running out of space due to many user
files in Documents and Settings. I have LOTS of room on
the D: drive and would like to re-establish the location
of C:\Documents and Settings to D:\Documents and
Settings. How can I do this easily while maintian the
funtionality of all the pointers in the registry?

Why not just resize the C partition. Partition Magic will do it with not
data destruction.

It's a very good idea to keep C as simple as possible. Making it bigger is
not the answer. Use TweakUI to do what you want. Look at this page for
directions http://aumha.org/win5/a/parts.htm
On the left side click DATA PARTITION

That is still up for debate. If a person is organized then it matters not
what he does on C. Personally, I like probably many others, like to have a
single partition.

It's fine to debate Donald but why ignore facts. You offer no reason -
organization is not a reason -why you like one large partition. The article
I posted offers many as to why one partition is not desirable. Please read
the article on the link I posted. Then perhaps we can discuss it.
