I accidentially deleted my retreived emails and yes the emails are definatly
still on the server, I can access them via a web interface. No matter what I
do I cant get the account to re-retrieve these messages. PLease help!

Create an additional profile and retrieve the messages through that account.
Then move the messages from the additional profile to the original.
For creating an additional profile see;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm
Use File-> Open-> Outlook Data File in your original profile to connect to
the pst-file of your additional profile.

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data

Hi

Try this,

Goto deleted items folder, click on tools, and select 'Recover Deleted
Items', the window that appears may po[pulate with items that can be
recovered.

Let me know how you get on please

Jonty

That would only work when you are connected to an Exchange server and when
recovery has been enabled on the server.

I appreciate the help, but this didnt work. I deleted the account, deleted
the profile, and created a brand new profile, all as u suggested. Im using
outlook 2k3 and somehow it seems to be "remembering" that it previously
downloaded these messages and is therefore refusing to re-download them since
it knows I deleted them in the past.

With a brand new profile the messages will download again as long as the
messages are still on-line POP3 (?) mailbox as it will "remember" inside the
profile. Are you sure you started Outlook with the new profile? Configure it
to prompt you for a profile when you open Outlook to make sure.
