How do i remove text effects (blinking text) from my signature?

When I open up a new email message, my signature is blinking. I never
changed any of my settings and now I can't figure out how to remove it. I
was working with a Word document earlier today and used the blinking text
effect in a portion of the font. How did this carry over into my Outlook
settings?
 
This is an ACCESS newsgroup. Access is a database application. Your
