How do I remove slide build-ups in a PPT presentation?

ANATMAN

I inherited a presentation where each line of a textual slide requires a
separate clip. I want the total slide to appear all at once. This was
rather simple in earlier versions of PPT, but I can't figure out how to do it
in PPT2007.

Hi

The simplest way to do it is to go to slides show -> set up slide show ->
tick 'show without animation'. But the simplest solutions don't always meet
our needs... You may need to remove animations on a slide by slide basis or
they may be on the master slide. To view the animations go to ->
animations -> custom animation. You can remove them by clicking the top
animation and holding shift while clicking the bottom animation then
clicking 'remove'. I they are on the master you will need to do this on the
master slide (view -> slide master).

Anatman,
The mechanism for animation is the same in 2007 as in 2003. For example, if
the text is in a placeholder, you can click anywhere in the placeholder,
choose Animations tab>Custom Animation, and the animation will be selected in
the task pane. Then click Remove.

Perhaps the animation is in the slide master. Then, you'd have to go into
the slide master and remove the animation from there.

I hope this helps,
Ellen
