How do I remove right hand stationery border?

When using stationery with a left hand border, it is also appearing on the
right hand side and interfers with my message. How can I remove it?
 
Stationery files are HTML, and the backgrounds are usually GIF files which
are tiled so that the border will repeat every so often. I'm not really an
HTML guru -- you'd have to figure out how to make the distance between the
borders larger so you have more text width available.
