How do I remove or rename the previous owner's folder in Documents

I am the 2nd owner of my laptop and would like to know how can I remove or
rename the previous owner's folder in Documents and Settings. When i try I
get the error message that it is a Windows system folder and needed for
Windows to operate, and wont allow me to rename or delete it. It's causing me
problems when I try to Import my Favorites folder, as it wont let me place it
into anything other than Matt (previous owner's folder). I know it's only a
name, but it's niggling me :(
Any help here would be much appreciated.
Jayne.

Go into Control Panel and create a new Administrative user using the "User
Accounts" applet. Logon to Windows using the new account that you have
created, and the directories that Windows uses to represent your data will be
under the name you've created in Documents and Settings.

Deleting the old account does not -- in my case -- delete the user'
folder in "Documents and Settings". Even though I chose "Delete Files
when deleting the account...
