How do I remove multiple names from a category at once?

I have many contact in one particular category. I no longer need that
particular category, so I would like to remove that category. However, many
of the contacts are assigned to multiple categories. How can I removed them
from one of the categories without completely deleting the contact(s)?

Michael Bauer [MVP - Outlook]

Switch to the By Categories view. Then select all of the contacts from the
category, right click, choose Categorize, and uncheck the category you want
to get rid of. If you also want to delete it from your master category list,
click categorize again, All Categories, and remove the entry.
