When i send photographs to friends and family through email (Outlook Express)
they cant open the attachments because of a virus message or warning. Where
should I look to clean this up. I can recieve photos and attachments, I just
cant send them along. thanks, Gordon

This newsgroup is for Outlook, not Outlook Express, which a completely
different program.

Find an Outlook Express newsgroup and don't fail to mention exactly what
message/warning is displayed.

However.... wouldn't common sense suggest you look at anti-virus software?

thanks for the response, they are in MY Documents and are photos from
software from Canon called Zoom Viewer and are regular Jpeg.

I'm guessing they are using OE and its blocking all attachments. They need
to look in their tools, options and uncheck the option to block images -
unfortunately I can't pinpoint the exact place to look as I don't have OE on
this system. In Windows Live Mail, it’s the security tab on the Tools,
Email security dialog - so if there is a security tab in OE, that would be
the first place to look.

Tools>Options>Security is the location for the option you describe.
