I stupidly installed Payya Tec SpamKiller from CNet and found it was pretty
worthless so I uninstalled it. But now their spam toolbar comes up on
Outlook every time I open it. I tried the Advanced Options--->COM Add-Ins
method but it doesn't even appear there as a choice. I've also tried
deleting it from the Customize bar and am able to do so but it comes back
each time I re-open Outlook.
HELP! :)
I'm using Outlook 2003 with Windows XP Professional SP 2
Thanks,
DJ

I had the same problem with Outlook Spy. It turns out Outlook expects addins
to put their registry entries under Current User. If the program registers
under Local Machine you cannot remove it from Outlook. The only way I know to
remove it is to use Regedit (Start/Run/regedit) search for all entries with
the name of the program (exe name, path name, manufacturer name, ...) and
delete them (you definitely should create a backup copy of your registry
before you do this).
