How do I receive messages, that are sent in HTML, in HTML?

I have selected HTML format to receive messages. HTML messages sent to me
display in plain text. How do I receive messages, that are sent in HTML, in
HTML?

Under 'Tools|Options|E-mail Options|Pteferences tab', make sure the "Read
all standard mail in plain text" checkbox is NOT checked.

I did as instructed, double checked to make sure the settings were still
correct, sent myself a message in HTML, and it was received in plain text.
Now what?

As of this morning your fix worked. I received HTML messages this morning
from senders other than myself. Thanks for the help.
