How do I receive messages automatically in Outlook without pressi.

When I open Outlook to check for new messages I always have to press the
send/receive button and wait for a long while.

How can I receive messages automatically without to have to press the
send/receive button?

That depends on your Outlook version.
Set up an automatic Send/Receive interval. That will also force a poll on
launch in Outlook 2002 and 2003.
