How do I rearrange pages and chapters?

How can I best move pages and chapters without messing up the 200-page book
I'm editing?

If you have been using the built-in heading styles, or any styles with
outline levels defined, you can use Outline view to collapse headings and
then move them together with their subheadings. For more on Outline view,
see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/UsingOLView.htm.

The alternative is to just use cut and paste.

Carefully.

Really, without knowing how your document is structured (eg Section breaks, Heading Style formatting, interspersed
portrait/landscape pages, etc), it's hard to give any specific advice.

For safety's sake, work on a copy of the document so you've got the original to return to if it all goes pear-shaped.
