I just started to use outlook and am shocked to find out my web based email
account is now empty. I have set uo the send/receive to no longer delete
items from the server. However I do work away from my desk and was woundering
if I can get all my emails back onto the web based server? Sympatico to be
exact.
Thanks.

If they offer IMAP email then set that up. If not then the only option is to
forward it to yourself.
BTW, the default setting for POP is to remove the mail from the server.
Always has been.

Re: advice for returning email to a POP3 server: If you forward email to
yourself, routing headers are altered. To preserve the original header
information, use "Forward as Attachment". The email still shows the headers
as forwarded, but the original headers are contained in the attached email.

Thanks for that bit of info!
