I want to use a image or symbol and project it through another image or
watermark. For example, I have used sugar cane as a background or watermark
on the poster and i want to use a CSIRO image/symbol and project it through
the watermark so that it the same as the background being sugar cane but in
the shape of the CSIRO symbol. If that makes sense. Can anyone help

Watermarks are generally built into the background image or a
semi-transparent image inserted on the Master Slide(s).

As a background:
- Open sugar cane background in photo editing app (such as PhotoShop)
- Import the CSIRO symbol
- Set the CSIRO layer to something like Overlay or Screen
- Adjust transparency and effect until desired visual is attained
- Save as a .jpg
- Import background onto Master Slide(s)

As an inserted image:
- Open CSIRO symbol in photo editing app (such as PhotoShop)
- Remove background if needed
- Make it an active layer
- Reduce transparency to 15-25%
- Save as a .png with transparency
- Insert image onto Master Slide(s) and send to back

Hi Isnt the CSIRO logo nearly all blue? If so you can try this (though its
not quite a watermark for which you will need photoshop or similar)
Insert your logo over the picture and in the picture toolbar use the
transparancy tool to click on the blue bit. Now play with the brightness and
contrast buttons.
