Outlook 2007's print dialog box no longer conatins the option to print the
"selection" only when printing an email. Any ideas how?

This seems to be a rather annoying step back?? Hard to understand whz I would
have to go through a workaround in order to avoid printing all of a message,
including previous posts, headers, signatures etc. I have been using print,
selection for the past 10 years, I guess it's called progress??

Nevermind ...

You can do this by opening the message in a browser;
Open the message-> Other Actions-> View in Browser

You can do this faster by using this macro;

There is indeed a trend going on to go to a (more) paperless office ;-)

Afrdukken email Outlook2007

Unlike Outlook2003, it is impossible to easily print a selection of an email
in Outlook2007. You can buy an addin at: www.savvisoft.com @ US$19.90.
Bloody ripoff by Microsoft. After paying a fortune for an upgrade to
Outlook2007 it sets you back as far as selective printing is concerned. And
environmentally unfriendly as well, having to throw away all those unwanted
pages. I have asked Microsoft to issue a patch to solve this. But will theuy
listen to us, their clients? Grin and bear www.savvisoft.com or change to
Google is maybe the only solution.

Attn Brian and Roady,

Can you please advise when Microsoft will be fixing this car crash of an
omission with a hotfix?

Thanks,

also, can an admin please delete the dupe posts, not sure how that happened,
sorry!

This is an unmoderated newsgroup. You wouldn't get duplicates like that if
you use a proper newsreader instead of the crufty web interface.

Outlook 2007's current Service Pack allows page selection when printing.
