How do I print only a part of an email message, quickly & easily?

Is it not possible to print only (say) page 1 of a 2 (or more) page email
message, easily, from Microsoft Outlook 2007? In Outlook Express (Outlook
2007's "poor relation") when you click on the Print icon you can specify
whether to print all pages, specific pages, or a sequence of pages in a
message. Outlook 2007 (which is supposed to be the "premium" program) gives
you an "all or none" approach. I realize that I can have Outlook 2007
convert an email message into a .pdf file and then print a single page, etc.
from Adobe, but this is too many extra steps in what should be a quick and
simple task. Am I missing something here, or is this something that was
hugely overlooked by the program developers?

What has been "hugely overlooked" is that Outlook and Outlook Express have no relationship to each other at all. OE is a part of Internet Explorer and is developed by the IE WIndows team. Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is developed by Office Outlook developers.

Having said that, open your email in your browser and then print.

Outlook is not Outlook Express.

Outlook has crappy printing capabilities and all the tricks that worked in
older versions don't work in 2007.

Apparently I was mistaken to have assumed that Outlook and Outlook Express
were "related". I assumed that since these two similar programs come from
the same parent company, share a similar brand name, etc. that they were
somehow connected, but I am not the expert and I will defer to your word that
these two programs "have no relationship to each other at all".

Having said that, your solution was to open my emails "in your browser and
then print". When you say "open in your browser" are you meaning my Internet
browser? I'm obviously not as computer literate as I thought I was, but how
do I do that? I'm ashamed to admit that after more than 20 years of
extensive, work-related computer use I've only ever used my internet browser
for just that....browsing the internet.

The need to export/open an email message this way, simply to print one page,
seems like a hassle. However, if this is the best we can do, so be it. I'm
tired of wasting time and money printing pages and pages of linked email
messages, simply to get at the portion that is needed.
