how do i print on custom size paper (8.5 x 18) in word

in word i am trying to print on custom sized paper (8.5x18 landscape
orientation) but i just get the right hand side of the page to print. how do
i get the entire thing to print?

In Page Layout, did you set a Custom paper size?

Are you sure your printer can handle the non-standard paper length?
Hopefully it too has a place where you can set a Custom size (probably
in Printer Preferences).

You may also have to set your printer to the same size paper.

Most printer drivers are hopeless when it comes to custom paper sizes, but
you may be able to create a new form of the required size -
