How do I print double sided postcards in ACCESS?

I am trying to print postcards with Name and addresses on one side and
specific information of the addressee on the other. When I flip the paper
over to print the other side, the data doesn't match up with the address.

It sounds as if you are printing one side, then taking the stack and
printing the other side. Is that true?

If so, you would need to use the reports sorting options to keep the data in
the correct order. Depending on your printer and the way the it handles
the paper stacking, you might have to reverse the sort order when you print
the second side.

I am printing one side and then taking it out and printing the other, But I
am only printing one page right now. I have four postcards on the one page
and the information is at the opposite ends of what it should be. Please let
me know if I need to explain better. Thanks

As long as the data is sorted the same way, then I would think the printing
would work.

Are you using the View: Sorting and Grouping menu item of the report to set
the sorting up.

I assume that you are printing two reports.
-- Report one would be the address information.
-- Report two would be the information on the reverse side.

Other than that I can't think of how to handle this.

I am not explaining myself very well. There are four postcards on one page.
When I print the first report it prints four different names and addresses on
the same page. The page is in quadrants. When I go to print the second
report(the back side) I have to flip the paper over and the refrence is now
different than the first report. Is there anything in ACCESS that will
rearrange the data to be put in the correct quadrant?

I am not aware of anything to do this.

I am guessing that you are using a two column report.

Are you printing Across then down or Down then across?

Are you going to print multiple pages or only one page?

I envision using a ranking query to assign a one-up number to each row that
is generated. Then sorting by that number for the front (going down then
across).

Then a Sorting by formulas based on the number for the back side. Something
like

(RowNumber-1)\2 , RowNumber Mod 2

I'm not sure this would work, I'm just toying with it in my head.

There is probably some print driver/add on out there that will do all this
for you.
